Strawberry Shortcake: Housewarming Surprise is an animated television special from 1983, produced by Nelvana. This is the fourth to feature the American Greetings character, Strawberry Shortcake.

Strawberry Shortcake: Housewarming Surprise chronicles Strawberry Shortcake's move into a new house. Her friends, including several new ones she met on a recent "around the world" vacation come to visit her. The villains attempt to ruin the fun by stealing all the recipes Strawberry's international friends bring with them.

- This special included the first animated appearances of the characters Café Ole’ from Mexico, Almond Tea from China, Mint Tulip from The Netherlands, Crêpe Suzette from France, and the twins, Lem n' Ada from England.
- This also marks the first appearance of the following pets: Burrito the burro, Marza Panda, Marsh Mallard the duck, Eclair the poodle, and Sugar Woofer the dog.
- This was the first Strawberry Shortcake special produced by Nelvana, the previous three having been produced by Romeo Muller, Robert L. Rosen, and Fred Wolf.
- An animated version of Kenner's Dancing Strawberry Shortcake Doll appeared at the end of this special.
