Hold On, I'm Comin', released in 1966, was the debut album by R&B duo Sam & Dave. The album reached #1 on the Billboard "Black Album" chart and #45 on the "Pop Album" chart. The album launched three charting singles. The title track ranked #1 on the "Black Singles" charts and #21 on the Pop Singles charts, certifying "gold" on July 17, 1995. "Said I Wasn't Gonna Tell Nobody" ranked #8 and #21 respectively, while "You Don't Know Like I Know" peaked at #7 and #90. According to All Music Guide, the "album epitomizes Memphis soul in all its unpretentious, down-home glory".[1]
