Henning Christophersen

Henning Christophersen (born November 8, 1939, Copenhagen) is a Danish politician, a former vice-president of the European Commission (1985 – 1995), former leader of the Danish liberal party Venstre (1978 – 1984) and former member of the European Convention.
He also was Deputy Prime minister and Finance Minister of Denmark (1982 – 1984) and Foreign Minister of Denmark (1978 – 1979).
Since December 1998 until 1 January 2007 he was the Chairman of the Energy Charter Conference.
He is chairmain and member of a number of supervisory Boards of Directors and partner of Kreab, Brussels.
