Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. --Jklamo 19:34, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
GA class
Please don't tag articles GA class by yourself. GA has an official process which articles have to go through and get reviewed by an external reviewer. Articles which have not passed this process cannot be rated GA. --Ideogram 19:18, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Please use edit summaries
Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. - Regarding the bad grammar stuff, yes, I have been noticing it for a very long time. O2 (息 • 吹) 22:51, 31 October 2007 (GMT)

RfA for Canadian Paul

Four years ago this day, a foreigner was voted by the community to serve a land that he loved. Today, a new foreigner humbly accepts the charge and support of serving a community that he loves. Hopefully, he won't disappoint.
Thank you for participating in my RfA, which passed with a vote of (47/0/1). The trust bestowed upon me by the community is one of the most touching honours that I have ever received, and I vow not to let you down. Whether you have suggestions for ways in which I could improve, a request for assistance or just need someone to listen, my talk page and my email are always open. I pledge to do what I can to help this project, in the words of a man who needs no introduction, "make the internet not suck." A special thank you goes out to Tim Vickers for nominating me. Cheers, CP 23:07, 17 November 2007 (UTC) |

To even begin improving the quality of our 1200+ stubs, it has been suggested that we delete all navigational templates. More broadly, we have to decide on various conventions; please participate at WT:CANRD if interested. –Pomte 21:05, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Lujiabang Road (Shanghai Metro), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Huangxing Road (Shanghai Metro). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:30, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Dual licensing of Shanghai Metro map
Greetings -- we'd love to use your great Shanghai Metro map on Wikitravel, but unfortunately we can't use GFDL content. Could you dual license it as CC by-sa 1.0 as well? Jpatokal (talk) 09:28, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
