- If you're on Windows, you could try holding Alt and typing "200e". Or you could just copy and paste a string that contains the character, like this:

Can you please state your references for this. I am attempting to expand the article on Leo Amery in particular as Colonial Secretary and in his membership of Round Table The Iraq issue was a major problem during his tenure. Hi! No, the Aeronautica Militare don't have a distinctive flag, but use a normal Italian flag, like any other military corp of Italy, the so called war flag (these flags are eventually awarded whit medals). You can find the Aeronautica Militare war flag here: http://www.aeronautica.difesa.it/htm/bandiera.asp. Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Bernard Hogan-Howe, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. MRAF is a 5 star rank
Although I agree with you, there are many who don't and insist on removing such statements. Hence my statement: Marshal of the Royal Air Force is equivalent to a 5 star rank, which is indisputable whatever one's point of view is.
Can you supply a reliable source to support MRAF is a 5 star rank? If not, might it not be less contentious to restore the statement Marshal of the Royal Air Force is equivalent to a 5 star rank?

- Hi again. I have only the book "The Royal Flying Corps in World War I" from the series "A Brief History" was published in 2002. Its a compilation of the 2 Volume set "The Royal Flying Coprs in France" published 1995. There is no photo of him inside. I could only ask Alex Revell if he knows his address or ask a friend who is in the RAF if there are any photos of him. Not sure if this will turn out something but the man is now 90 or 91 years. Yes i will help you with the German version of Trenchard page. Leave me a message when you are ready, i will have a look at the German page in the meanwhile. --Panth (talk) 12:06, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

- I've restored the category as you requested. When I deleted it, it was part of several speedies that I was taking care of right then. Frankly, I've never been comfortable with that speedy deletion criterion, since as far as I know there's no way to know whether the category has been empty for four days if you don't check it regularly. Do you know if there's any way to find out whether it's been empty for four days without checking over four days? Nyttend (talk) 20:56, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Trenchard Articles
Hi Greenshed. I have read the German article Hugh Trenchard, it is very rudimentary and misses a lot of material. There is nothing about his time in africa, almost nothing about pre-wwi, little about wwi and not enough about WWII. Also it lacks the more important boxes at the end of the article. In the english article under subchapter "Flying School" we should clarify under which circumstances Trenchard earned his wings. Ralph Barker writes in his book that it was only possible for him to do it before he was 40 years because he was helped by a friend who was with him in Africa who then worked at the flying school. Also a friend of mine who is in the RAF has found it very doubious how he could accomplish to earn his before he got 40. He thinks that Trenchard had signed the papers probably by himself. Is there any explicit mention in the Andrew Boyle source about this incident? I dont have this book in my library. Outstanding work on the english article so far.
