There are several expansions of the abbreviation GMP:
- Gay Men's Press
- There are some factories called "General Metal Products"
- Airport code for Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, South Korea
- Good Management Practice, a management improvement approach.
- Good Manufacturing Practice, a requirement for manufacturers of foods and medications (including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology products, and active pharmaceutical ingredients) to assure that medications are of the required quality. The term cGMP is uniquely used in the United States and refers to "current Good Manufacturing Practice"
- Gross Metropolitan Product, similar to the GDP, the product of a metropolitan area's economy
- GNU Multi-Precision Library, an arbitrary precision numerical calculation programming library
- Greater Manchester Police, of North West England
- Guanosine monophosphate, a nucleotide
- Guaranteed Maximum Price, a contract mechanism establishing a maximum cost for a given product or service
- Guaranteed Minimum Pension under United Kingdom pensions legislation
- Global Marshall Plan
