Gloucestershire Scout County (The Scout Association)

Gloucestershire is a Scout County witihin The Scout Association in the United Kingdom, concurrent with the political county of Gloucestershire. The current County Commissioner is Joan Goldsmith. The County Scout HQ is based at Cranham where it has been present since 1947.[1]

The County is divided into eight Scout Districts:

This District encompasses the town of Cheltenham and its immediate environs.

This District encompasses the towns of Cirencester and Fairford

This District encompasses the towns of Berkeley and Dursley

This District encompasses the city of Gloucester and its immediate environs. It currently consists of 17 Scout Groups, 10 Explorer Scout Units and a Scout Fellowship.[2]
