George Eldredge (September 10, 1898 – March 12, 1977) was an American actor.

[edit] Early life
Eldredge was born George James Eldredge in San Francisco, California. His father, James Eldredge (1865-1951), was a doctor in Brisbane, and his grandfather, Richard Eldredge, Jr., a lawyer born to English immigrants.[1] His mother, Catherine Anderson, was Scottish-American.[2] Eldredge originates his family roots to England (Norwich) and Scotland (Glasgow).
