[edit] December 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Michael Kelso, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Tiptoety (talk) 22:03, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sure, simply place <ref>YOUR CITATION HERER</ref> next to the text you are wanting to source! Cheers! Tiptoety (talk) 14:56, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pulp Fiction
Read Gay pulp fiction. The connection is twofold. First, the film's namesake is a reference to pulp magazines, otherwise known as "pulp fiction". Secondly, gay pulp fiction is a version of pulp magazines that focus on homesexuality. The rapists, Maynard and Zed, are homosexual men, and likely readers of gay pulp fiction. You have to appreciate the mutiple levels of interpretation to make the connection. Ward3001 (talk) 23:45, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think you're being dumb. It's quite appropriate to raise a question on the talk page to get other opinions. That's how Wikipedia sorts out opinions and reaches consensus. I think you might get an explanation from the original contributor, which may be better than mine. Ward3001 (talk) 15:59, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] peer review
I was wondering if you could take some time out of your schedule to head over to the Heroes (TV series) talkpage and give us an honest peer review. The page has gone through some major changes in the last few months, and it would be fantastic if a prominent editor/contributor like yourself, could head over and give us at the Heroes Wikiproject some sound opinion and ideas on improvements for the page. We have all worked very hard at improving the page, and we need great outside, reliable and trustworthy users to come over and help us improve. I you are interested in joining the peer review discussion with other prominent users/contributors, much like yourself, please follow the link. Thank you very much for your help and your continued effort to improve Wikipedia and its quality! [edit] Eclipse of sun by the earth
Howdy!! There seems to be some confusion about the eclipse in the beginning of the Heroes titled card. If you have the season 1 dvd, you can review the title card several times, and you will noticed that the earth is covering the sun, not the moon. Please do not add POV or OR to the heroes articles. If you do not own the season 1 dvd, you may go yo your local video store and rent them. But yes, it is the sun and the earth, not the moon.--Chrisisinchrist (talk) 18:25, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Eon
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_Omnitrix_aliens&diff=188568230&oldid=188550193
Actually Eon did say something to that effect. He didn't spell it out that Ben couldn't use the form, but he said "those powers still belong to me", or something close to that.--Marhawkman (talk) 10:30, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
-
- I've seen it... three times. And yes it is quite clear that he is talking about the Eon powers.--Marhawkman (talk) 23:14, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- Enjoy. :) Mind if I change it back?--Marhawkman (talk) 22:36, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- What was your definition of that? My interpretation is that vague references to a specific source are permissable.--Marhawkman (talk) 23:28, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Enh, Reminders are nice. :) --Marhawkman (talk) 23:02, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Red Dwarf peer review
Hi there. The Red Dwarf article has just been requested for a Peer Review. As an interested editor of the article I was wondering if you would like to join in on the discussions. As you will be aware, the article has gone through some major changes in the last few months, and it would be fantastic if a prominent editor/contributor like yourself, could head over and give some sound opinion and ideas on improvements for the page. If you are interested in joining the peer review discussion with other prominent users/contributors, much like yourself, please follow the link. [edit] Use of automatic reversion tools
Please be careful what you mark as vandalism with tools that produce an automatic edit summary. This [1] was not a revert of vandalism and marking it as such only results in ill will. Reversions of good faith edits should always have a fully explanatory edit summary. Thanks. CIreland (talk) 22:01, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Tables in columns
Demonstrating a; How you put two tables side by side and b; what your idea for the Neighbours cast list would look like, I've done this in my sandbox. If you look at the code you'll see it's basically a table (without the 'class' option set to any styles so it's basically invisible) with two cells. Inside each sell is half of the table. Hope this makes sense and is useful to you. ~~ Peteb16 (talk) 20:27, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Upcoming table on Neighbours
Nah it's fine. As I said, I had an idea and it wasn't popular so that's that. I'm just happy to help in any way that's possible, that's all. Thanks anyway! Swanny92 (talk) 21:21, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Content blanking
Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of Omnitrix aliens, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. [edit] Sorry
My bad. It looked like you had removed an entire paragraph but your contribs show differently. I've restored your edit to the page. Feel free to remove the warning I gave you.--Urban Rose 16:42, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Alien Force Annoyance
the people editing the Alien Force aliens and adding powers they think would be cool... is getting very annoyingJeremy8419 (talk) 20:29, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
i really liked when someone put up a full list of ALL the new aliens powers. like they would even know that. i also hope swampfires powers arnt so lame as that one guy suggested. "shoots fireballs and controls plants"? if a 12yr old on wiki could think of it, i doubt the producers would do that. i personally hope swampfire can swim (no water vuln like heatblast) and shoots out petroleum-like substance that works like napalm. maybe i should edit that into the wiki, since opinions are apparently sourced facts, hur hur. Jeremy8419 (talk) 22:43, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
well, we were wrong. the commercials have been coming on from 3-6ish EST. I video taped it today, but am trying to figure out how to get the video (vhs) online to use as a source. The ones about swampfire and echo echo were right (as lame as they are). Jeremy8419 (talk) 20:57, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
im semi-noob at wiki, can you give me a link to what you spoke of please? Jeremy8419 (talk) 21:06, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
i updated it. look good? Jeremy8419 (talk) 23:55, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image linking
Hi.
My head is still buzzing about that "it's probably better to link to Media namespace than the Commons" discussion on the Help Desk. Frankly I don't quite know what the Media namespace is about, except that audio files are there. (I'll have to look into that.)
Can you tell me what's your take on that discussion's bottom line? I've got a whole bunch of images that I (and a friend working on another article) may like to link to.
I think people link to outside images to skirt the copyright rules, figuring that no bots will find them out.
Best,
--Shlishke (talk) 00:40, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Pink Floyd (Barrett's Decline)
You removed an edit by an anon IP (multiple-user with a history of vandalism), with edit summary: "Don't know why that was taken out. Use an edit summary next time". I have re-inserted it. Just to let you know, I'm not the person who changed it originally. The first time I saw the change, I thought it was an improvement. I did create a summary explaining why. Just trying to help a newbie, but with his talk page full of warnings, I don't think it would be useful to comment on his page. Hope you approve. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 22:10, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

- Editing your user page is prolly the easiest solution. You have shitloads of userboxen, though. D'you want two columns or something? Or just for me to chuck them all there, so you can handle the rest and get tables by example? — OwenBlacker (Talk) 15:28, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] The Divine Emerald
Hi. Just wanted to let you know that I had to decline the WP:CSD#A7 on this article, as films cannot be speedily deleted for notability concerns, I have written to ask User:Corvus cornix if he minds my bundling it into Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tajudeen bioku. If he does, or if that AfD picks up momentum before I'm able, I will very likely be nominating it independently. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:23, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. :) Just one of the many intricacies of speedy deletion! --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:30, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Francis grave
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Francis grave, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Francis grave is a test page.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Francis grave, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. [edit] A7
Hi. :) Just wanted to further clarify WP:CSD#A7. I came upon Mengil Manhide's Manflayers, an article you tagged, this evening. I did delete the article, but only because it was a copyright violation of this url. A7 can be used to speedily delete articles about real people (individually or grouped, as in companies or bands) or web content if the articles do not assert importance. It can't be used on the products, such as films, albums or books. This particular article was not an A7 candidate as it refers to a fictional group of people. Ordinarily, these might be addressed through WP:PROD or WP:AfD, unless they meet one of the other criteria. In this case, the sudden introduction of a large chunk of text suggested to me a phrase check on google might be worthwhile. This is quite often an indicator that the material has been copied and pasted from another source. Thanks. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:45, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] LOTSW and FOTSW production numbers
Hey I need some help and I'm not quite sure where to look for it. Since you seem to have quite a bit of information on the episodes, I was hoping you would know. As I'm reformatting the episode list for LOTSW, I'm trying to include production numbers for the episodes, mainly using TV.com as a source. However, they don't have production numbers listed for series 11 onwards, the pilot, or any FOTSW episodes. I was hoping maybe you would know where I could go to find this information to make the lists complete. Cheers! Redfarmer (talk) 17:39, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
