"Gears of War" is the fifth track on the Megadeth album United Abominations. It's based on the Xbox 360 video game of the same name. The song was first played on October 17, 2006 in Nagoya, Japan.
A video of the October 31, 2006 live performance at Six Flags New England is available, courtesy of MTV, on the band's MySpace page. A demo of the song, along with the lyrics, was released on the band's website on November 22, 2006.
