Gabby Lang, better known by her stage name, Gabby La La, is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist (including sitar, ukelele, accordion, theremin and toy piano), signed to Prawn Song Records. Her music is self described as "fun, unique, crazy (and) kooky." La La's eccentric debut album, Be Careful What You Wish For..., is a collaboration with Les Claypool that though "peculiar... reveals gems of pop merriment."[1]
Gabby La La is primarily a solo artist but at times she has been a member of Weapon of Choice and currently is a member of Les Claypool's Fancy Band.

[edit] History
Lang toured with Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains in late 2004 as an opening act in their national tour, which included stops at venues like The Warfield Theater in San Francisco.[2]
In March of 2005, Lang opened for Chicago rock/jam band Umphrey's McGee.[3] That summer, Lang toured both as a soloist and with the Fancy Band, appearing at music festivals such as Bonnaroo and High Sierra.[4] From the late summer to the fall of 2005, Lang toured with funk band Particle following the release of Be Careful What You Wish For....[5] The tour, dubbed the "2005 CaliLicious Tour", spanned from August 25 to October 8 of 2005, kicking off in Northern California and ending in Hollywood, California.[5]
Throughout 2006 and 2007, Lang continued to tour with the Fancy Band. Over the two summers, the band played festivals such as Wakarusa and High Sierra.
