Fred Breining
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fred Breining (born November 15, 1955 in San Francisco, California), was a pitcher for the San Francisco Giants and the Montreal Expos from 1981-1985. His career was cut short when pitching to Ray Knight. He fielded a bunt and threw it to first, only to blow out his shoulder. He never played another inning as a Major Leaguer. Breining is now an instructor at the Dusty Baker International Baseball Academy. He also gives private lessons (along with Lloyd Moseby, who teaches hitting) in the Sacramento area.
