Floyd Jay Winters

Floyd Jay Winters was a Political Science major and varsity wrestler at Rutgers University. He was also a former championship wrestling coach. He has been a Computer Science Professor for over 21 years (1986-present). He unsuccessfully ran for Congress in 2004, seeking Florida’s Congressional District Seat 13, formerly held by Katherine Harris. He and his wife, Julie Manchester, have written several books published by Prentice Hall, and they do database and Web development. Julie is daughter of author/historian William Manchester. For over a year, Floyd and Julie have been the cohosts of The Jay and Julie Show, which explores the Lighter Side of Politics, Culture and Technology.
