Family Law is a television drama starring Kathleen Quinlan as a divorced lawyer who attempted to start her own law firm after her lawyer husband took all their old clients. The show aired on CBS from 1999 to 2002. The show was created by Paul Haggis.
The show also starred Christopher McDonald as an opportunistic, ambulance-chasing attorney, Julie Warner as Quinlan's friend and the one member of former firm's lawyers who did not defect with Quinlan's ex-husband, and Dixie Carter as a "pit bull" divorce attorney. Later cast additions included Tony Danza, Cristián de la Fuente, Salli Richardson and little person actress Meredith Eaton as an ambitious attorney hoping to make partner.
