Express Freighters Australia is an all-cargo airline based in Sydney, Australia. It was established in August 2006 and is wholly owned by Qantas.

Qantas announced that Express Freighters Australia would start operations in October 2006 with one aircraft and four pilots, increasing to four aircraft and up to 40 pilots by March 2007[1]. It was intended that the airline would be a dedicated domestic air freight carrier for time-sensitive freight such as mail, electrical equipment and computers[2]. It commenced operations on 24 October 2006, initially operating one Boeing 737-300[3], and expanded to four aircraft during 2007.
The four 737s supplanted Boeing 727-200s previously operated on behalf of Australian air Express (itself a partially-owned subsidiary of Qantas) by National Jet Systems. As Express Freighters Australia flies exclusively for Australian air Express, it does not have IATA or ICAO identifiers of its own[4].

The four aircraft were formerly part of the Qantas passenger-carrying fleet and are still owned by Qantas[6].
