Driver F (formerly known as Driver Friendly from their album Fly Away) is a rock band based in Austin, Texas (formerly based in The Woodlands, Texas). They are known for their creative music and exceptionally energetic live performances, and have a devoted fan base.
Their performances are quite intense and include a plethora of skanking, stage diving, moshing, and jumping up and down. Prepare to come home sore and sweaty after the show.
During a live performance at Stubb's Barbecue in Austin, the lead singer, Tyler Dagger, climbed up a wall onto a balcony filled with fans watching the show, and ran through the audience, down a flight of stairs and back onto the stage. Such gleeful spectacles are commonplace in their concerts.
The fans also have many things they like to bring with them to make the show that much better. The most commonly seen are confetti and waterguns.
The band has also made several public statements showing their support for NBC's action-comedy Chuck.
