Robert Douglas Flynn Jr. (born April 18, 1951 in Lexington, Kentucky) was an Infielder for the Cincinnati Reds (1975-77), New York Mets (1977-81), Texas Rangers (1982), Montreal Expos (1982-85) and Detroit Tigers (1985).
He helped the Reds win the 1975 and 1976 World Series.
He won the 1980 National League Gold Glove Award at second base.
In 11 seasons he played in 1,308 games and had 3,853 at bats, 288 runs, 918 hits, 115 doubles, 39 triples, 7 home runs, 284 RBI, 20 stolen bases, 151 walks, .238 batting average, .266 on-base percentage, .294 slugging percentage, 60 sacrifice hits, 20 sacrifice flies and 58 intentional walks.
