Dorobanţi

Dorobanţi is a district in Sector 1, Bucharest. The theme of the district is represented by red brick buildings and modern glass buildings. Main intersections/plazas are Perla, Dorobanţi Plaza, Lahovari, Charles de Gaulle, Quito Plaza. Main streets are Calea Dorobanţilor, Iancu de Hunedoara Avenue, Lascăr Catargiu Boulevard and a small part of Ştefan cel Mare Way. It is named after "dorobanţi", type of soldiers from the Romanian War of Independence.

Dorobanţi district is delimited in south by Roman Plaza, in south-est by Mihai Eminescu Street, in est by Polonă Street, Floreasca Avenue and the Floreasca district, in north-est by Primăverii district, in north by Herăstrău district, in west by Aviatorilor Avenue and Victoriei Plaza and in south-west by Lascăr Catargiu avenue.

- There are 4 metro stations in each corner (north - Aviatorilor; west - Victoriei; south - Romană; east - Ştefan cel Mare, which is at 175 m distance from the border) and one in the middile, which is in construction since the 80's (Dorobanţi - at Perla).
- There are present the 331,301,131,282,182,330,684,335,783 RATB lines and a tram-line.
