[edit] Mike North incident
Don Cooper's name has been in Chicago Media news recently for an on-air altercation with WSCR 670am morning radio personality Mike North during the "Mike North Morning Show" on June 14th, 2007. Resulting (arguably) from the confrontational approach North takes to his interviews
One of the highlights of the short, and abrasive interview was Don Cooper referring to Mike North as a "jerk-off" on the air. He did so in response to North's accusation that the White Sox team, as a whole, are content with the idea of just "laying down" and waiting for the season to end. And the unstated implication that the coaching staff is responsible for the White Sox' perceived indifference towards the team's recent struggles.
