Dire Deny, formed in 2002 are a punk rock band from Somerville, Massachusetts on the indie label Winter Hill Jives. A chance encounter between two high school classmates (Adams and Yi) led to the formation of the band. The band finally found its missing sound in bassist Fumio Tamaki in 2005. A brief hiatus followed soon after into early 2006. The band reunited and is currently working on finalizing a recording of a demo EP, entitled Bloody Fetuses and Baby Steps. The group maintains its lineup of Trevor Adams (vocals and guitar), Earl Yi (drums and vocals), and Fumio Tamaki (bass guitar). and lastly Mike Tambone as (roadie)
