Dino, Desi & Billy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dino, Desi & Billy was a 1960s singing group featuring "Dino" Martin (Dean Paul Martin, the son of traditional pop singer Dean Martin), Desi Arnaz, Jr. (Desiderio Arnaz IV, the son of television stars Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball), and their friend Billy Hinsche. Hinsche went on to tour and record with the Beach Boys periodically throughout the '70s and beyond.
Dino, Desi & Billy's best known songs included
- "I'm A Fool" (1965) U.S. Billboard Hot 100 #17
- "Not The Lovin' Kind" (1965) U.S. #25
In 2002, Hinsche's website stated that Desi and Billy had formed a "new configuration of the original band" known as "Ricci, Desi, & Billy", performing original material and the original songs. Ricci Martin is the youngest son of singer Dean Martin.[1]
