A dendogram to go with Image:Scale Space Seg.png. The symbols represent positions of extrema of the first derivative of smoothed versions of the signal (positive and negative in different colors), or zero-crossings of the second derivatives, and the positions that they track back to at fine scale.

This graph image was uploaded in a raster image format such as PNG, GIF, or JPEG. However, it contains information that could be stored more efficiently and/or accurately in the SVG format, as a vector graphic.
