Delicatue, literal meaning “kept mistresses” – belonged to highest category of women prostitutes in ancient Rome. They were kept as mistresses by men. Delicatue belonged to the highest category of prostitutes in ancient Rome, followed by several other categories of women prostitutes, including Famosae and Lupae.
