Dary Matera

Dary Matera (born 1955) is a U.S. author from Chandler, Arizona, who specializes in real-life case books. Mr. Matera is also a columnist whose column appears on multiple newspapers nationwide.
Some of Matera's books, such as 1987s Are You Lonesome Tonight? (about a woman's alleged relationship with Elvis Presley and the assumption that he had an out of wedlock daughter with her) have been extremely controversial. Others, such as 2003's FBI's Ten Most Wanted, explore the lives and possible whereabouts of fugitives such as Osama bin Laden and Victor Manuel Gerena.
His next book, Jackrabbit, will document the life of John Dillinger and is set to be released in 2004.
Mr. Matera has written fourteen books, including one about children and parent relationships.
