Dane Spencer

Dane Spencer (born December 24, 1977) is an American alpine ski racer. He was born in Boise, Idaho, grew up skiing and racing at Bogus Basin, and made the U.S. Ski Team at age 16. He attended the University of Colorado in Boulder.
On February 14, 2006, Spencer incurred serious injuries in a downhill race at Whitefish Mountain Resort (at the time, Big Mountain Ski Resort) near Whitefish, Montana and spent most of 2006 recuperating. His recovery progressed well and he was placed on the "A" team for the 2007 World Cup season.
