Daian-ji (大安寺) is an ancient Buddhist temple in Nara, Japan. It is traditionally one of the Nanto Shichi Daiji, lit. the seven great temples of Nara. The forerunner of this temple was originally built in Asuka area, moving to its current location in 716, following the move of the capital from Fujiwara-kyō to Heijo-kyō, which took place in 710.
