You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future. --PinchasC | £€åV€ m€ å m€§§åg€ 04:24, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Ali_Hassan_al-Majid.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Ali_Hassan_al-Majid.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. --Tawker 06:12, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Fedayeen-Saddam.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Fedayeen-Saddam.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 22:18, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] April 2006

Deleting my warnings isn't helping you. They are in the history still and doing this only proves you are trying to hide your actions from other admin. --Scott Grayban 17:53, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove warnings from your talk page or replace them with offensive content. Blanking your talk page will not remove the warnings from the page history. If you continue to blank your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. --Scott Grayban 19:07, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Admin.... Please see [3] for previous deleted warnings issued that were deleted. --Scott Grayban 19:11, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to remove warning messages from your talk page, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Scott Grayban 19:16, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. --Scott Grayban 14:42, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cuba

I see that you have been edit warring with User:Bletch. Instead of edit-warring, please use the talk page of the article. If you continue to revert the article for any reason other than removing vandalism, you will be blocked for violation of the 3RR rule.--Shanel 14:48, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] President for Life

Hi Commandante. Could you keep an eye on the President for Life article. Users are continuing to include Fidel Castro against NPOV and Verification guidelines. Thanks.--Zleitzen 02:57, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Also, this article : List of acts labelled as state terrorism sorted by state contains many unreferenced sections. A user is insisiting on an unsourced section on Cuba which needs to be removed if reinserted. --Zleitzen 13:37, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

And this page President of Cuba. An editor has inserted a US state department report which I believe unbalances the article, adds a unneccessary foreign POV, is actually largely false and is superfluous to the original article which dealt with bald facts. --Zleitzen 07:09, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Ali Hassan al-Majid.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Ali Hassan al-Majid.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:26, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Fedayeen-Saddam.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Fedayeen-Saddam.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 13:38, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
