Comanche Peak Wilderness

The Comanche Peaks Wilderness is administered by the USDA Forest Service. It is located on the Canyon Lakes Ranger District on the Roosevelt National Forest in Colorado. It is named for its most prominent peak, reaching 12,702 feet (3,872 m), and covers 66,791 acres (270 km²) in northern Colorado. This wilderness borders Rocky Mountain National Park on the south and has 121 miles (195 km) of trail to hike.
