Cogliate (Milanese dialect: San Dalmazi) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 20 km northwest of Milan. In 2009 Cogliate will pass under the administration of the brand new Province of Monza and Brianza.
As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,835 and an area of 6.9 km².[1]
Cogliate borders the following municipalities: Lentate sul Seveso, Rovello Porro, Misinto, Barlassina, Seveso, Saronno, Cesano Maderno, Ceriano Laghetto.
