Cimanes de la Vega

Cimanes is the last village of León, the south one, circulating from the N-620 highway (León - Benavente). Is closed to the Esla River.
It has 700 inhabitants, grouped in three villages: Cimanes de la Vega, Bariones de la Vega and Lordemanos de la Vega. The main activity is agricultural, with irrigated and dry lands. The main production is beet, maize and cattle forages. The main monument of this village is the hermitage of "Virgen de la Vega", (XI century).
