Chris Miller (writer)

Chris Miller (born 1942) is an American author and screenwriter, most notable for his work on National Lampoon magazine and the movie Animal House. He had a bit part as Curtis Wayne "Hardbar" Fuller, credited as Christian Miller. His experiences in the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity at Dartmouth College inspired much of Animal House.
Prior to writing that script, he wrote several short stories about his college experiences ("Night of the Seven Fires") which were published in National Lampoon. He also wrote the screenplay for Multiplicity, starring Michael Keaton. He wrote his memoir The Real Animal House: The Awesomely Depraved Saga of the Fraternity That Inspired the Movie (2006), about his experiences at Alpha Delta Phi that inspired Animal House. Miller is writing a new memoir about the 1960s.
