From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Children's Medical Center is a children's hospital located along the Stemmons Corridor of north Dallas, Texas.[1]
For more than 90 years, Children's Medical Center has created an environment just for kids, including a large model train set. An environment supported by highly trained medical and clinical staffs using advanced technology.
Children's Medical Center is a private, not-for-profit institution. It is the only Dallas healthcare facility that deals exclusively with a variety of diseases and disorders among children from birth to age 18. The center is licensed for 411 beds, including a 52-bed (soon to be 72-bed) pediatric intensive care unit.[2][3] The hospital also has more than 50 outpatient clinics and a state-of-the-art emergency center designed specifically for children.[4]
