Chevroux is a municipality in the district of Payerne in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

At the end of 2006, there were 383 inhabitants. Chevroux is one of the small municipalities of the Canton Vaud. As of 2000, 90.6% of the population speak Romansh, 6.3% German, and 1.3% speak Polish. The total population of Chevroux amounted to 429 in 1870 and 367 in 1900, then experienced a decline until 1980 when it reached a low of 276 people. After that time, there has been a clear increase in population.
