Charles N. Brown

Charles Nikki Brown is the founder and editor of Locus, a news and reviews magazine dealing with the Science fiction and Fantasy genres of literature. He was born on June 24, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York. He served in the United States Navy and worked as a nuclear engineer before becoming a full time Science fiction editor in 1975. Brown and Locus magazine are frequent winners of the Hugo Award for Best Semiprozine.
