Chain of Lakes Middle School is a public middle school in unincorporated Orange County, Florida. Located between the Dr. Phillips and Windermere area, Chain of Lakes opened in 2001 as a relief school for Southwest Middle School and Gotha Middle School. Chain of Lakes is home to approximately 1400 students. With 3 teams in each grade, Chain of Lakes tries to provide each student with the most individual attention possible. The current principal, Carol Kindt, has been at the school since 2002.

Three teams (named after a specific animal) are issued for each grade, and each of these teams acts as a family. In these teams, students have homeroom sessions together, compete in friendly school events against other teams, and are issued school schedules as a unit.

Chain of Lakes Middle School has made it clear that they have zero tolerance for bullying. In order to enforce this the school has set-up a Bullying Hotline for students, to ensure safety while they are in school.
School minutes: M/T/Th/F: 9:25 am to 3:50 pm. Wednesday: 9:25 am to 2:50 pm.
Monday & Wednesday have different period times than t/th/f due to specific reasons. Monday is homeroom (an extra period) and Wednesday Is early day
