The Geoquip Stadium is the home ground of Matlock Town F.C., an English football club who, as of the 2006-07 season, play in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Matlock Town are currently having an appeal to build a new stand. [1]
Causeway Lane, itself, is a road, the A615, which runs from Crown Square, in the centre of Matlock, in an easterly direction to Matlock Green and then on to Tansley, Wessington and Oakerthorpe.
The football ground lies on the northern side of Causeway Lane, opposite Hall Leys Park. At the eastern end of the football ground is a cricket pitch, where Matlock Cricket Club play their home matches.
