Charles David Baker is the author of the "Journey of Souls" series (Crusade of Tears, Quest of Hope, and Pilgrims of Promise); Crusade of Tears was first published in 1999 as A Journey of Souls, and Quest of Hope was published in 2005 along with Pilgrims of Promise. He is also the author of The List, a story set in occupied Philadelphia during the American Revolution, and Swords of Heaven which is the story behind the history of the Magna Carta.
A former businessman, Baker writes full time, and lives on a farm in Pennsylvania with his wife and two sons, and has traveled in South Africa, Continental Europe, Great Britain, and the U.S. for research on these and other subjects.
