Bezirksklasse

The Bezirksliga, Bezirksklasse or Landesklasse is the 7th tier of football in Germany. From 2008, with the introduction of the 3rd Liga, they will be the 8th tier of the football league system. The Bezirksliga exists in all regions of German football. Below the Bezirksliga usually ranks the Kreisliga. The Bezirksklassen are mainly found in the former East German states, like Sachsen.
In the state of Bavaria there are 15 Bezirksligen, set in the league pyramid right below the seven Bezirksoberligen.
