Barry Foote

Barry Clifton Foote (pronounced FOO-tee) (born February 16, 1952 in Smithfield, North Carolina) was a Major League Baseball player from 1973 to 1982 for the Montreal Expos, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and New York Yankees. He played mostly as a backup catcher. After his retirement as a player, Foote served as a coach for the Chicago White Sox and the New York Mets.
