Baron Inverclyde
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Baron Inverclyde was a title created in the Peerage of the United Kingdom in 1897 for Sir John Burns of Castle Wemyss, Wemyss Bay, Inverclyde, Scotland. His father, Sir George Burns, had already been created a Baronet in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom in 1889. Consequently all Barons Inverclyde were also Baronets.
Both the baronetcy and barony became extinct in 1957.
