Ayelet July Zurer (Hebrew: איילת זורר; born June 28, 1969) is an Israeli actress, perhaps best known for her roles in Nina’s Tragedies, and Munich. Sometimes referred as the ice princess,[citation needed] due to some of her roles, she is one of the most acclaimed actresses in Israel.
Zurer won Best Actress awards from both the Jerusalem Film Festival and the Israel Academy for her role in Nina’s Tragedies. She has appeared in such other Israeli features as For Sasha, The Revenge of Itzik Finkelstein, The Dybbuk of Holy Apple Field, Desperado Square, and Electricity Man. Her TV roles include the Israeli series A Matter of Time, Florentine and In Treatment, and the telefilm A Night Without Lola.
Zurer appeared in the English-language films Vantage Point and Snappers, and will star in the upcoming 2008 movie Adam Resurrected.
In April 2008, Zurer was cast as the female lead in The Da Vinci Code prequel, Angels and Demons.[1]
