Astrit Ajdarevic (born 17 April 1990 in Kosovo, Yugoslavia) is a Swedish professional football player currently playing as a midfielder for Liverpool FC youth team, he is of Albanian descent from Kosovo. He has recently represented his country in the qualification rounds for the UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship.[1] Sweden however were knocked out in the elite group phase.
On 5 December 2006 Ajdarevic completed a second trial at Liverpool and transferred soon afterwards to the club, having impressed the club's coaching staff. Reports suggest that depending upon appearances the transfer fee could rise to as much as £750,000.[2] Although it has been reported that, although still under contract at Liverpool, he is currently looking to move to another club.[3]
He made his Liverpool youth team debut in the FA Youth Cup victory against Reading in January 2007.
