Ashley Gearing (born 1991 in Springfield, Massachusetts) is an American country music artist.
Ashley Gearing made her chart debut in 2003 with the song "Can You Hear Me When I Talk to You?", which peaked at #37 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. She grew up in Massachusetts. Twelve years old at the time, she became the youngest solo artist to enter the country charts, breaking a 46 year-old record previously held by Brenda Lee.[1][2] "Can You Hear Me When I Talk to You?" was released as a single on Lyric Street Records, although a full album never materialized on that label.
Her first full length album, titled Maybe It's Time, was released on the independent label Squeeze Records in 2006. One year later, she moved to Curb Records, releasing the single "Out the Window" in early 2008; this has become Gearing's second chart single.
