Artificial Life, Inc. (OTCBB: ALIF) is a leading provider of award winning mobile 3G technology, games and applications with global headquarters in Hong Kong, EMEA headquarters in Berlin, Germany, and an office in Tokyo, Japan. It is a US public corporation on NASDAQ OTC BB and currently trades under the symbol ALIF.OB. The Company was founded in 1993 by current CEO Eberhard Schoneburg in Boston.

The main business areas of Artificial Life, Inc. include high quality 3G video streaming, 3D interactive mobile games, Java games, mobile entertainment and mobile technology platforms. The Company's games are distributed globally in partnership with prominent operators such as Cingular, T-Mobile, TeliaSonera, Bharti Airtel, and Hutchison 3. The Company also has its own M-Commerce portal known as Botme.com (www.botme.com) which sells mobile games directly to mobile phone users around the world.

In December 2007, Artificial Life announced that it signed a worldwide licensing deal with Paramount Digital Entertainment to release two exclusive mobile games based on the multiple Academy Award winning movie "Braveheart" and the recent box office hit "Shooter". Also, they announced an exclusive four year license deal with Lionel Messi to produce a series of interactive mobile games based on the Argentinian soccer star's image and likeness.

In December 2007 the Company released a mobile game for the very popular German and emerging European cult band Tokio Hotel. In addition to the German version of the game, it will also be available in English, French, Spanish, Italian and several Eastern European languages.

Since July 2007, the Company has released six 3G mobile games with ProSieben for the popular TV program Popstars, as well as for the US Cable TV channel, Oxygen, to develop a 3G mobile game for the reality series "The Bad Girls Club".[1][2]

The Company has developed games under major licensing deals, with Warner Bros. for the Happy Feet mobile game for Japanese market, CBS Interactive for the America's Next Top Model show based on The CW's popular reality series, as well as the Big Brother, and STAR TV for the Blackie's Teenage Club and Lollipop shows. Starwave Mobile of Walt Disney Internet Group also bought distribution rights to Artificial Life's V-boy and V-girl mobile games for the US, Canada and the UK. Artificial Life also won a contract from Saatchi & Saatchi to develop an innovative mobile application.[3]

The Company acquired the SMS Galaxy system from Swiss-based Script Avenue AG.

Artificial Life, Inc. was founded in 1993 by current CEO Eberhard Schoneburg, and incorporated in Delaware in 1994. The Company began as a developer of intelligent avatar applications creating products such as the following: ALife WebGuide, ALife Messenger, ALife Smart Text Analyzer, ALife Portfolio Manager, ALife Insure, and ALife eCRM. By 1998, the Company became public on NASDAQ.

At the height of the internet business just before the millennium, Artificial Life, Inc. developed custom-made intelligent avatar applications for major financial institutions, including Credit Suisse First Boston, Price Waterhouse Coopers and UBS.

After the internet bubble burst, the Company changed its business strategymigrated to the mobile platform and moved to Hong Kong, the center of telecommunications in Asia, with the second highest mobile penetration rate in the world.
