Arthur L. Johnson High School

Arthur L. Johnson High School is a comprehensive community public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Clark, in Union County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Clark Public School District.
Students from Garwood, attend the high school as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Garwood Public Schools.[1]

In Newsweek's May 22, 2007 issue, ranking the country's top high schools, Arthur L. Johnson High School was listed in 1137th place, the 37th-highest ranked school in New Jersey.[2]
Arthur L. Johnson High School was the 91st-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2006 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools.[3]

The Arthur L. Johnson High School Crusaders compete in the Mountain Valley Conference, which consists of public and parochial high schools covering Union County and Essex County in northern New Jersey, operating under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA).
Teams compete in Central Jersey Group II.

- Todd Burger, former professional football player for the Chicago Bears and New York Jets.[4]
- Kenneth Ham, piloted the Discovery space shuttle as a member of the STS-124 mission which delivered components to the International Space Station.
- Jeffrey Lichtman, defense attorney in New York City who represented John Gotti Jr. and managed to secure a dismissal of three charges of murder conspiracy, an acquittal of a $25 million securities fraud charge, and a hung jury on every remaining count brought against him.
- Ray Megill, four-year letterman in lacrosse at the University of Maryland earning All-America honors. He is now currently in the MLL and NLL.[citation needed]
- Matt Poskay, set the national high school lacrosse scoring record with 362 career goals.[citation needed]
- Deborah Zoe, actress who has appeared in Angel.[citation needed]
