Antoine Fuqua (born January 19, 1966 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an African-American film director. After beginning his career directing music videos for popular artists like Toni Braxton and Prince, he became a successful film director. He is perhaps best known for the award winning film Training Day.

Fuqua was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, graduating from Taylor Allderdice High School in 1984.
He has been married to actress Lela Rochon since 1999. They have three children.
