[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Skamp s.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Skamp s.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 21:56, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- To avoid problems please read the text in the license box, note especially: To the uploader: This tag should only be used for images of a person, product, or event that is known to have come from a press kit or similar source, for the purpose of reuse by the media. Please add a detailed fair use rationale as described on Wikipedia:Image description page, as well as the source of the image, the photographer, and copyright information. Additionally, if the copyright holder has granted permission, please provide further details as to the terms. If You feel that the picture doesn't fulfill the license requirements then it should be deleted. If You have questions then feel free to ask, feydey 22:25, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Little note on city vs town vs village
Hi, just to let you know these three English terms correspond to miestas vs miestelis vs kaimas. Lithuania also has strict designations for each group. So if something is on the list of cities, it should be called a city and not a town. I know that it is hard to call a settlement with 1000 people a city, but that's how it goes. But you are doing a good job around here and I hope you will stay to keep me company ;) Renata 00:16, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Good job so far tagging articles! Keep it up, I am at work now so cannot join you :) Renata 14:12, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- As far as inconsistency goes: yeah, that's quite a problem and I hope with this template to solve it (at least a little bit). I think both Marijampole and Taurage are a bit over stub word limit, but just marginally. There are tons of stubs that are not tagged as stubs. So I would not solely relly on whether article has stub template or not to determine its quality.
- List and article is one and same for our purposes. Renata 14:53, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Labas

[edit] ISBN Correction
Thanks AndriusG
- Isn't teamwork great? Thanks a lot. It is even better when Wiki gets the interest of a young person.I tip my hat.Ekotkie 20:32, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks for such a detailed response! I know about the ISBN mess. And it was my bad... I mistyped the ISBN. I just was in a hurry and did not notice the message left by the bot. so I decided to ask you what's wrong with the book because I have it right on my desk. But everything is corrected now. Your work is very much appreciated, and I hope you will continue. Renata 19:34, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- In the bulk of ISBN's that I have corrected, the typical error is a leading or trailing number has been dropped. Sometimes something has gotten transposed. It is a time consuming task but when people see correct information being preseted to the public, then everyones work effort is worth it. Thanks for re-checking for that typo.Ekotkie 20:28, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:LKF.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:LKF.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Question about Lithuanian
Hello there, my grandmother and I were working on a Wiktionary page, and I was a little confused by what she told me. She is a native speaker of it, and I, although I am Lithuanian do not speak the language.
Now me question is , what is the difference between para and parą. She tells me it means 24 hours, and there there is two ways to write it. Now it may be an obsolete word, as she tells me its not really used.
Anything you could tell me about these words would be greatly appreciated.
Bearingbreaker92 | Talk 01:00, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks! I really appreciate the help.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Tv3.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Tv3.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:01, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Redirect of Matt Nielsen
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Matt Nielsen, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Matt Nielsen is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Matt Nielsen, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Exmoor & Exmoor Forest
Hi, You have previously edited the Exmoor Forest article and I'd like to ask your thoughts on merging it with Exmoor which is much more substantial & does include something on the history of the royal forest. I don't think the Exmoor Forest adds anything that the Exmoor article doesn't but wanted to canvass opinion before merging them & redirecting the Forest article to the main Exmoor article.— Rod talk 14:40, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:Euroleague
A tag has been placed on Template:Euroleague requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
