A World of My Own (abbreviated as AWOMO) is an Internet based, 3D virtual world, in development by Virgin Group.
It is billed as "the first 3D games platform dedicated entirely to games and gamers." AWOMO players explore a virtual island, where they can chat with other players, play free games, purchase items, and compete in gaming tournaments for various prizes. [1]
