Request reason: "What evidence do you need? This is a proxy server for a CS lab. We are unable to create any accounts for research since this main IP is blocked; it's a pain in the ass to go to another computer to create the accounts so we can use it on this net."
Decline reason: "If that's the case, I would have your system administrator look into this. There is a long history of abuse and vandalism to wikipedia doe by your colleagues. —Pilotguy go around 01:30, 2 March 2007 (UTC)"

Oh, you beat me to the decline.
Sorry for your inconvenience, but we cannot unblock this IP address at present. Too much vandalism and abuse has been received from this IP to make the risk worthwhile. Also, the IP address is owned by a website hosting company... that makes me leery that this IP address might be a proxy. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 01:31, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
| This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
