[edit] 3RR
Hi, you've just violated 3RR at Steven Emerson. As you may not know about the rule, I'm leaving this warning for you, but in future you may be blocked for up to 24 hours if you revert to a previous version of a page, in whole or in part, more than three times in 24 hours. See Wikipedia:Three revert rule for more information. Cheers, SlimVirgin (talk) 23:47, September 12, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR violation
Dear editor — regardless of whether you believe that adding a couple minor edits on top of a reversion makes it an entirely new edit, the fact is that you still are very much reverting the page, and have done so more than three times in 24 hours. You are already in violation of the WP:3RR rule, therefore, and it's clear that you are aware of the rule. Since you thought that you could be excused under your assumed technicality about word-for-word reverts, I think it would be better not to resort to blocking at the moment. However, make no mistake that you have been violating the rule, and so will almost certainly be temporarily blocked if you continue to do so.
Also note that the 3RR rule does not apply to "sides" or "teams". If two or three editors are reverting your edits, that's all the more reason to realize that you won't be bale to change the page by forcing an edit through.
Using the talk page, as you have been doing, is a good step towards effective editing. You must have realized by now, however, that the other editors of that article aren't going to stand by and let you make the edit you've been reverting to. If you feel that your point is valid, make rational arguments on the talk page and see if you can reach something that more people are happy with.
